QuickBooks with the Cloud
Use the steps below to setup QuickBooks to work with the cloud.
QuickBooks Pro 2002 or Higher
QuickBooks Interface must be installed onto the computer where QuickBooks is
Set up all accounts and items in QuickBooks according to the
Account Setup page
Install the program for the cloud using
Manually create shortcuts to the following files on your desktop:
- Run EOD; the
program will close
- Open QuickBooks and then minimize it
- From your desktop, click on the bmxQbEodFtpCloud.exe file to
transfer the posting data from the cloud to your computer.
After the transfer is completed, the QB Interface (acrQBsdk)
will automatically be launched.
- Upon initial startup, the QuickBooks interface will try to
match the accounts that it can. Continue to follow

because some accounts may need to be added or edited.
- The QuickBooks interface desktop shortcut (acrQBskd) is only
used if you already downloaded the current data and you need
to re-post, or if the interface was closed by accident, etc.
Running the bmxQbEodFtpCloud again is ok since
it will detect that the computer has the most current data and then
launched the QuickBooks interface.
