ALERT: Windows XP Is Retiring
That's right. As of April 8, 2014, support for Windows XP will no longer be available. On the surface, this may not seem to be an issue. Operating systems and software programs are constantly being changed and updated. However, there are some things you need to know and consider if either you or your clients are XP users.
First and foremost, Microsoft will no longer be issuing security updates... A cyber criminal's dream! There are other implications as well, so it is important to understand them all. Follow the link below to find out more as well as what steps you can take to ensure the security of your computers.
THERE WILL BE NO SUPPORT TO Bay-masteR or Crash-writeR users on XP with regards to any virus, malware, data base, networking or multi-user issues effective April 8, 2014. We will provide contact information with an outside consultant, minimum charge is $100 payable in advance. This does not mean that an issue can even be resolved. General support for Windows XP machines will stop as of December 1st, 2014.
